PSA School Inequality

PSA School Inequality

Hi, my name is Olivia Sievers and our topic
is school inequality. Hi, my name is Jackie Paz and one way this
issue affects us today is students get less of an education
My name is Jasmine and school inequality has been an issue since 1980, when schools didn’t
have enough money for students My name is Natalie and one surprising fact
is most don’t know is that school inequality, still happens today Alright, Ladies and gentleman we’re going
to be reading about Apartheid and the effects of Apartheid and you’re going to be working
with a partner and you’re going to be answering questions 1-5 From section 4 of the textbook
on page 98 So here are your textbooks please pass them
back Thank you for helping Olivia, uh-oh we might
have enough Textbooks, guess that happens when we don’t have enough funding for education
unfortunately those if you don’t have a text book you just don’t get to do the assignment
and you’re not going to get credit for the Assignment, so you’re probably going to
get a zero because there wasn’t enough I’m really sorry
Teacher: So who did not receive a textbook? Alright Student: We don’t have a book so its
a loss of education and were in a public school so shouldn’t we get another book
Yeah you would think so because everybody should be treated equally in this school,
in a public school but unfortunately we don’t have enough funding to supply all of the students
in need.
