  1. this guy is Japanese why would he disgrace his ancestors and his people by adopting a culture from a lesser people? Here in America we hate Mexicans! And want nothing to do with those people

  2. hey, he's even using the left side driver's seat! it's probably confusing for him when he got into lowriders but he owned it! (context, most cars in Japan are in the right side instead of the left)

  4. Very few things suck worse than documentaries that require me to read text while also looking at (in this case) the cool cars to get the full appreciation for what the video is about. Its lame, and its ignorant on the creators part to think this has any real value!

  5. I respect Japanese people for their love of chicano culture and other cultures.. They have like all different subcultures from around the world. Its amazing to see their spirit and curiousity.

  6. Watch NO ONE complain about cultural appropriation here because it is non-whites doing it.

By the way, I ABSOLUTELY DISBELIEVE in the notion of cultural appropriation; I am just pointing out the hypocrisy.

  7. I don’t care if some people say this is cultural appropriation. I think this is super cool seeing the Chicano vibes and old school low riders making a comeback not in the West Coast but in Japan!

  8. Well, they say every society has the lowest hanging fruit. It seems even Japan has bottom feeders and degenerates. Anyone who obsesses over degeneracy is bound to end up at the bottom.

  9. 00:35 – A japanese guy wearing a mexican sombrero with a germanic cross pattée print in it. I love how globalized we're nowadays.

  10. In this day some might attempt to call this cultural appropriation. I call it cultural appreciation and I think it's fantastic!

  11. these are some awesome cars to watch and u should post more about cars like this. btw its very interesting about how it came about. Keep posting more video's.

  12. Chicanos, anywhere but home, LOL. There’s 26 countries in the entire Western Hemisphere and Latinos are predominate in 24, excluding the US and Canada. Still not satisfied. Still need to take over the world. Everybody’s world. It’s a kind of unconscious racism. We need to own it all.

  13. 1:21 he really met the ogs that is the DUKES CAR CLUB FOUNDER.by the way not to mention he is deep IN THE HOOD LONG BEACH BLVD AND 42ND STREET IN SOUTH LOS ANGELES . THE NOTORIOUS 38STREET GANG TERRITORY DATED BACK TO THE EARLY 1920s RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ZOOT ZUIT RIOTS

  14. Crazy how I'm Mexican and I never liked low riders. My eyes have always been on Japanese cars specifically the evo 9

  15. Wow amazing japans work is good as it gets to any Chicanos shop. As a Chicano it’s very flattering to see the love and appreciation of japan to the cruise lowrider lifestyle!!! Saludos a JAPON de Califas!!! 🇯🇵

  16. Australia and the UK are also dabbling with lowriders. My question is where did they find all those old American cars and how much to ship them overseas?
